POLICIES

  • CHECK IN/OUT
    Early Check-in: Between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm - all early check-ins must be requested and approved at least 24 hrs prior to arrival and are subject to a $35 charge.
    Check-in: Between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm
    Check-out: Before 11:00 am
    Late check-out: 11:00 am - noon
    Late check-out fee: $35.00
    Guests must provide the credit card used to book the reservation and a matching photo ID at check-in.
     
  • DEPOSIT/PAYMENT
    A deposit equal to 50% of the entire reservation is charged at the time of booking, with the remainder charged 7 days prior to check-in. Upon check-in, a hold in the amount of $250 or less will be required as an incidental deposit. This hold will be released within 48 hours after check-out and inspection of the accommodation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
     
  • RATES:
    All rates are based on maximum occupancy in accommodation and are not adjustable. Children: The first child 2 years old or under does not count as an occupant. Additional children of any age will count as an occupant.
     
  • CANCELLATION
    Travelers who cancel 30 days or more before 3:00 pm AKST on the day of check-in are charged no fee.
    Travelers who cancel between 30 days and 1 week before 3:00 pm AKST on the day of check-in are charged 50% of the booking amount.
    Travelers who cancel less than 1 week before 3:00 pm AKST on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.
     
  • PETS
    We have limited pet friendly accommodations (dogs only). Please call to inquire about availability.
    Pet Fee: $50 each, max 2 dogs.
    Note: Dogs are not permitted in the Lodge.
     
  • SERVICE ANIMALS
    If you have a disability and require the use of a service animal, please contact us for booking and arrangements to ensure we are able to meet your needs.
     
  • Liability:
    Smoking is prohibited inside all buildings on Meandering Moose Lodging property. Any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room or cabin, property's premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether staying at the property during your stay or not. Meandering Moose Lodging reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit/debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Meandering Moose Lodging because of aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.
     
    In case of cancellation of further guest stay by the hotel caused by misbehavior and disregard of hotel rules, the hotel reserves the right to charge for the remaining length of stay as per reservation.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Our Lodge is only for use by guests with a reservation for a Lodge room.
  • Lodge main doors (front and side) shall remain unlocked at all times.
  • Lodge shared areas of kitchen and sitting area are open 7 am to 1O pm.
  • The Lodge sitting area is NOT a sleeping area and sleeping is not permitted there at any time for any reason.
  • Lodge guests have access to the Lodge kitchen and agree to promptly clean up after themselves. Dirty dishes are to be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher.
  • Lodge guest personal belongings must be stored in your room. Meandering Moose Lodging will not be liable for any lost or damaged property left unattended outside of guest rooms.
  • All guests will be respectful of other guests staying at Meandering Moose Lodging.
  • The front main deck is for all Lodge guests and is open 7 am to 11 pm. The large side deck is reserved for Big Deck Moose guests only.
  • Keys are to be left in the room/cabin at check-out. Any keys lost or not left in guest room/cabin upon checkout will incur a fee of up to $200 for replacement or re-key.
  • For your convenience, we have provided designated parking areas. Meandering Moose Lodging takes no responsibility for damage or loss of your vehicle in those parking areas or while on the property. Oversize vehicles (trailers and campers) are not permitted to park in Lodge parking areas or at cabins, must be no more than 30 ft and approved prior to arrival.
  • No camping (tent, rv, camper, car/truck or otherwise) will be permitted.
  • Only registered guests and persons included in a guest reservation are permitted to stay on the property and use amenities provided by Meandering Moose Lodging.
  • Dogs - Must be pre-approved and leashed at all times when outside of cabins.
